Wickham Horse Fair 2006
Wickham is a small, typically English town, set not too far from Southhampton, though far enough away to have retained a rural atmosphere. An ideal setting for one of the last horse fairs to be set in the main road through the town.
Because of the growth, in recent years, of a busy market for traders, the horses are shown off and dealt away in a very restricted area. This shows the horse dealers' ingenuity and bravado at their very best. Good horses are here in abundance, good dealing, and plenty of good ale. Of course Denise Ann has not left out the families, they are here too. Look out for yourselves, and God Bless you all.
